Silvia Poratelli is a Coporate Law lecturer at Universidad Torcuato di Tella in Argentina. She holds an LLM degree by Harvard University and an LLB with honors by Universidad de Buenos Aires, where she graduated first of her class, for which she received the Roque Fortunato Garrido award. Professor Poratelli has published several articles in Corporate Law and Capital Markets Law. She has worked as an associate in several law firms, including Allende & Brea in Buenos Aires and Sidley & Austin (currently Sidley & Austin LLP) in New York. She is also a member of the New York Bar. Professor Poratelli is currently a Partner at Pasarella Abogados, where she focuses her practice in Business Law. In particular, she advises clients on Corporate Governance, M&A, Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Compliance. Her practice also focuses on commercial contracts, trusts, joint ventures and other topics in Commercial Law.
