Samuel Véliz Ortiz

Samuel Véliz Ortiz is a lawyer who graduated with honors from the Catholic University of Santa María in Arequipa (Peru) and holds a Master's Degree in Business Law from the University of Navarra (Spain). He also holds a diploma in the management of professional service firms from the University of Navarra and IESE Business School. He currently serves as a Principal Associate in the corporate area at Stucchi Abogados (Lima), an undergraduate and postgraduate professor at the Faculty of Law of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, and an arbitrator at the Arbitration Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Arequipa. He has previously worked as a Senior Associate in the corporate area of Payet, Rey, Cauvi, Pérez Abogados (Lima), an International Associate at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo (Madrid), and a professor at the Faculty of Law of San Ignacio de Loyola University. His main areas of specialization and academic interest include Commercial Law, Corporate Law, Business Contracting, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Financial Law, Capital Markets, Corporate Governance, Estate Planning, and Arbitration. He is the author and co-author of several articles published in nationally circulated legal journals.
