María Heredia Angleró

María Heredia Angleró holds a Law degree, graduated summa cum laude from Universidad Católica de Santo Domingo (UCSD) (Dominican Republic), and a Master’s in Corporate Business Law from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) (Dominican Republic). She is currently a candidate in the Advanced Legal Program in Strategic Corporate Governance at IE University (Spain). She serves as Head of Corporate Governance at Advanced Asset Management, S.A., Sociedad Administradora de Fondos de Inversión, where her work focuses on strengthening transparency, protecting investors’ rights, and overseeing corporate structures within the securities market. She also has experience advising and managing mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate transactions, and private equity operations, as well as designing, implementing, and evaluating governance structures applied to Fund Management Companies, Investment Funds, and portfolio companies. Her academic and professional interest include corporate governance, corporate and financial law, and the regulatory challenges of investment funds in the Dominican Republic.
