Manuel Castillla Cubillas is a Commercial Law Professor at University of Granada. He holds a law degree from the University of Granada and a PhD in Law from University degli Studi di Bologna. In addition, Mr. Castilla holds a LLM from Chicago University (as a Fulbright Scholar) and focuses its research on corporate, capital markets and financial law. He has been director of the Family Business class at University of Granada and visiting researcher at different foreign institutions such as Havard University and University of California Berkeley. He has published several articles in both Spanish and foreign journals in connection with corporate governance, financial regulation, commercial contracts and capital markets.
