Lorena Schneider

Lorena R. Schneider is a Lawyer and Doctor of Law in the commercial law area, with an outstanding doctoral thesis recommended for the Faculty Award. She is President of the Corporate Arbitration Commission (CAS/CEMARC) of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce. She holds a Master’s Degree in Commercial and Business Law (UBA) and a Certificate in International Commercial and Investment Arbitration (Università degli Studi Roma Tre, UNIDROIT, and ICC Arbitration). She is a member of the Business Law Institute of the National Academy of Law and Social Sciences of Buenos Aires, a member of the Expert Committee on Corporate Law of the Ibero-American Institute of Law and Finance (Madrid), and a member of ICC Argentina. She is also Vice President of the Corporate Arbitration Working Group of CIAM-CIAR and a member of the Argentine Association of Comparative Law. She serves as a Permanent Arbitrator in various institutions and is a specialist in Corporate Law, shareholder disputes, Corporate and Investment Arbitration. She teaches and lectures at universities in Argentina and abroad. She has received several awards and special mentions and is the author of individual and collective books as well as numerous scholarly articles in her field.
