Juan Luis Goldenberg
Juan Luis Goldenberg is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Law of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. He holds a Doctorate in Law from the University of Salamanca and a Law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. He is the author of several books on commercial and civil law, as well as more than one hundred book chapters and articles in specialized journals on contract law, insolvency law, and consumer protection. He has been a visiting professor at Columbia University, Université catholique de Louvain (Louvain-la-Neuve), the University of Kent, the University of Nottingham, and the University of Chicago, conducting research on substitute capital loans, consumer over-indebtedness, small business insolvency, and cross-border insolvency. He has served as a legislative advisor in the two most significant reforms of insolvency law in Chile and is a member of the Civil Society Council of the Superintendency of Insolvency and Entrepreneurship.
