Germán Martel

Germán Enrique Martel Beltrán is a Honduran attorney with more than 25 years of experience in Corporate, Commercial, Financial, Securities, Insurance, Trust, Contract, Tax, and Labor Law. He is a specialist in project structuring, public-private partnerships, and comprehensive legal advisory services for national and international business groups. He has led legal advisory teams for banks and financial institutions in Honduras and abroad, handling mergers, acquisitions, debt restructuring, and fiduciary management processes. His professional background includes legal representation of major corporations such as Grupo Financiero Bancomer, Citibank, BAC Credomatic, Grupo Promérica, Texaco, SabMiller, Interaseo, Empresa Energía Honduras, and Andrade & Gutierrez, among others. In the public sector, he has served as General Manager of the Central Bank of Honduras, Commissioner of the National Banking and Insurance Commission (CNBS), and Secretary Commissioner of CONATEL. He is a Founding Partner of the law firm Interglobal Legal World Services Honduras, an international firm with a presence in the Americas and Europe. He also actively participates on boards of directors and in the management of strategic projects in energy, infrastructure, and public services. He holds academic training in Financial, Securities, and Insurance Law (Externado and Javeriana Universities of Colombia), as well as multiple diplomas in Corporate Governance, Arbitration, International Taxation, and Public Policy. He is fluent in Spanish and English and is a member of the Honduran Bar Association and Rotary International.
