Andrea Orellana
Andrea is a practicing lawyer, admitted to the bar in Spain and Ecuador, specializing in civil and commercial litigation and international arbitration. Since September 2022, she has been part of the Litigation, Arbitration and Mediation Department at Ramón Hermosilla Abogados. Her practice focuses on highly complex civil, commercial and corporate disputes, both before the Spanish courts and in arbitration proceedings. She is specialized in Business Law and New Technologies. She is currently a member of the Spanish and Ibero-American Arbitration Club (CEIA), the Spanish Business Litigation Club (CELN) and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). In the academic field, she has collaborated as a coach in the Civil Practice course of the Master’s in Access to the Legal Profession at the University of Navarra. As a student, she took part in several editions of Moot Madrid, receiving various awards, among them: in the XII Edition (2020), the Albert H. Kritzer Award for the second-best statement of claim, an honorable mention for the best statement of defence, and the third prize for best award; and in the XV Edition (2023), the prize for the best arbitral award.
